Personal life:

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, a notorious singer was born to a famous family of Qawwals and classical singers in Faisalabad; Punjab, Pakistan on 3rd December in1974 and their family is called as “King of Qawal” family. The Zodiac sign of him is Sagittarius and a height of 5 feet 4 inches and a weight of 90 kg give him a glossy appearance. He spent his early childhood and has done his preliminary study at Faisalabad but later due to his interest in music has made his career in Music. Rahat showed an adoration for music from a very young age and was often found to be trained by them and singing with his uncle, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and father Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan, as young as three in the art of singing Qawwali. He made his first toured United Kingdom at the age of 15 after basic training. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan tied knot to his cousin Nida Khan back in 2001 and both are leading a very happy and blissful life. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is blessed with 2 daughters and one son named Maheen Khan, Filzan Khan and Shhazman Khan.

Career:

As Rahat has started singing at the age of 9 at the death anniversary of his grandfather and he used to perform with his uncle and father. After death his uncle of he has started playback singing the Nusrat’s Qawal Part as well. He first sang for Bollywood Song and sang “Kisi Roz Milo Hamain Shaam Dhalay”. He got his personal fame which was overshadowed due to his Uncle’s giant personality after this performance. His entry into Lollywood is get (Pakistan Music Industry based out of Lahore) in 1997. He has appeared popular in India because of his Bollywood film songs and debuted as a playback singer in Bollywood with the movie Paap (2003) for the song “Mann Ki Lagan”. The first original non-film music video from the song “Zaroori Tha” from the album Back 2 Love (2014) in the Indian subcontinent made a huge applause. In a subordinate role, working with his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan as the head of the group in collaboration with Eddie Vedder, of the American rock band, Pearl Jam, he contributed to the soundtrack of the 1995 Hollywood film, Dead Man Walking. Khan’s self-titled release on American Recordings as his debut continues to entrance world audiences with numerous shows around the globe. His vocals were taken on the soundtrack of Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto in 2006.They is gearing up his boosts on potent sounds by cranking up the low end and placing the tabla way up in the mix.
